So,here on this site, we have a trainer class that is called "Coordinators", well you must be thinking: "If there are Coordinators! You guys must have contests!"
Well, I thought of that as well, and after some time thinking, I came up with this awesomesauce system! =D
So, only some special Towns have contest halls, means that you'll only be able to enter in contests when you re in one of these towns, and there is actually a contest going on. There is one contest per week, means you have a chance to compete no matter what =D
To enter a contest one must enter the contest hall RPwise, and register your name and the name of the pokémon you are entering with. Then all you have to do is wait. Again, the registration fields may change according to the rules, adding one more pokémon, or anything else like that
So, basically all contests have three stages:
The First Stage.
The first stage will be the special test of the contest, where you and your pokémon will be put to the test. Each contest hall has its own test and is usually something completly random (or not so random), but odd. Something out of the ordinary that will make you think. What you'll do on this fase will only be revealed when you're actually there, RPwise.
Do not expect to find the same test twice, even if you do enter the same contest again, because TWO SIMILAR CONTEST NEVER HAPPEN =D which means there are no equal tests either, even if in the same hall.
The Second Stage:
The so-well-known appeal!
Another important information about the appeal and all contests: All contests will have a theme, and the appeal will work better if it matches the theme. If the theme is 'Fire', having water pokémon performing water moves is not the best way to gain points in the second stage o.o
Basically, on the appeal, both you and your pokémon may at, performing a number of actions, don't make it too short, neither two long. Remember, quality instead of quantity! As long as you follow the Contest Theme and your appeal is original, you have a chance to win.
The Third Stage:
The third and final stage is...battling! Nothing can be simpler than this. Battle! Of course, you might as well consider battling an art and follow the theme, giving you more points, and the battle field, etc may also varie according to the Contest Theme.
Winning a contest:
After all participants finished their test, appeal and battle, a number of points will be given by the judge, and the person with more points (or not, again this can change according to the rules) will usually be the winner and gain the certificated ribbon and the prize (the prize varies along with the contest).
NOTE: The rules of the all stages may change according to the contest's own rules.
