Character Name: Gustav Ketchup.
Age: 32.
Gender: Male.
Trainer Class: Pirate Captain Pokémon Trainer.
Personality: Gustav isn't really considered a Saint, or even an Angel to begin with his attitude. He is very vulgar, rude, and rather aggressive covering it up with suaveness. Then again, that's just one mildly consistent attitude, he can change it whenever he wants, if he feels like it. Otherwise he has somewhat of an opportunistic mindset that leaps into many opportunities that presents a benefit to himself. Probably also darn greedy if not lacking empathy, or maybe just plain careless.
Appearance: He pretty much wears a skipper's hat, and some blue button-up shirt that he has open to expose his collar. He also wears cargo pants, some boots, sunglasses, and sports a facial hair, mostly a stubble. He has brown hair, mostly something that resembles a mullet, and his face is brimming with maturity. If anything, he kind of fits the description of a man wanted for assault with a weapon nobody can believe could possibly be deadly but unfortunately was. He also has rather noticeable muscles and stands a height of 6' 4''. Towering over many people in a way.
Background: Pretty much nobody knows where Gustav was born at, but when he explains it, it was from his momma's belly. He explains that he ran away from home at the tender age of four, because he and his mother always used to have fights, often involving swords. Surely his account is inaccurate, but there are evident cuts on Gustav's chest which might make the story seem true. But he further explains along those lines, he joined to become a pirate, and joined up the crew after he kicked a kitten to get his membership.
He did lots of stuff as a pirate over the years, such as fish for Pokémon, steal Pokémon, take the Pokémon's skins off and sell them, smuggle Pokémon, collect debts from smart Pokémon, make love to a Pokémon, and then a few other things like steal booties from some brothel, steal actual treasures from a federal building, and fiddle around with the cash where he bought his fancy skipper uniform.
Later on, was when he stole the Mayor's wallet, and punched him in the face, did Gustav become a wanted man. A criminal for stealing the paltry sum of a few Yen, and also happened to just have went around beating other important people up and stealing their wallets in a vicious cycle, running off and disappearing into the seas as the infamous 'Wallet Snatcher Pirate'. Nowadays used as a boogeyman to kids, that whoever doesn't do right, will have their wallets stolen by a nasty man, which was unfortunately to them, not exactly true. Gustav steals wallets regardless. He also happened to steal a Pokémon training and taming manuel that has become rather useful to getting a Pokémon and taming them.
Starting Pokémon: Vaporeon, Feraligatr. Both Level 30 and females.
Pokémon History: How Gustav found his Pokémon was not a pretty story. In his pirate journeys in a dingy to some swamp, Gustav saw two Pokémon fighting each other, Vaporeon and Feraligatr. Both were beating each other badly and were wounded, so Gustav, in a mad rush, jumped both of them with a blunt pipe, and beat the crap out of both of them until they were both rather bloody. Still, he beat them up until they went unconscious, and took them back to his hideout. This was how he found him, but not how he tamed them.
Using fear tactics, he tortured both of the Pokémon using waterboarding, and made the two amphibian Pokémon grasp for air despite the fact they breathed underwater perfectly fine, but it stimulated drowning. Eventually he whipped them, punched them, kicked them, threatened to rape them and then turned nice. In a turn of events, those two went through some Stockholm syndrome-like mannerism, and identified themselves friends with their captor. Then Gustav released the two of them, and they were the bestest friends ever after that, and they became his Pokémon.
