An Epic Start... Sorta

Revan, riding his Ponyta, trots up to the Coco Village's Lab to meet up with the Professor.
Today is the day that Revan was to get his supplies to go adventuring and take on the Pokemon Gym Challenge.
The pair don't have to ride very far until they reach the part of the Village where the Lab is at.

"Well, Maverick, here we are."

The Ponyta stops in front of the Lab.
Revan slides off and reattaches his cape. He then walks up to the Lab and opens the door.

"Professor, it's Revan. I've come for my things."

Professor Palm stepped out from behind a counter and then smiled at him. "Revan, you should've knocked - I would've been more aware and had your stuff ready." She then shuffled and then got a metal tray, commonly used by the Nurse Joy's at the pokemon center, and then there was already some stuff situated on it. Five pokeballs lined up neatly in their minimized forms, a pokedex design with several colors from him to choose from, and lastly - a region guidebook. "Here, just choose a pokedex color and pick up your other things and you are on your way. That Guidebook has a map, tells you where the gyms are, and everything!"

"I think Red is just fine."
Revan gathered the items and headed for the door.
"See you around Professor."

Revan walks outside and removes his cape. He then puts his new items in his inventory and climbs back on Ponyta.
The two ride off into the Yumi Rainforest.
