The beginning of an Epic Journey?

Ah! A new life, a new place and a new wind blowing their faces! Shikako was indeed a wonderful region full of wonderful creatures! Lyon and his faithfull companion, Buizel, were on top of a small mountain, and down there they could see it. The Coco Village, the starting point of thousan-rem...maybe Hundre-Not really...well, okay, Duzens of trainers from all around the Worl-No...not really...Shikako is a rather isolated village south of Sinnoh, but anyway, lets continue our story!
It was the starting point, at least, for Lyon and his pokémon. Both their lives would have a twist on that region and none of them would be the same after a few months.
Lyon looked down there to try to find something to eat, they were out of money and there had to be something around there....so he took a step, and triped, and crumbled all the way from the top of the mountain to the base, entering the forest in a rather funny way.
From up there, Buizel sighed...He didn't know anyone else who was like this...or did he?
A few minutes passed and Buizel found his trainer seated on the ground, full of grass, but with a smile on his face.
"Look Buizel! FOOD!" Lyon said, pointing to the Cocos on top of the trees.
The word "Food" had a stimulating effect on Buizel, who quickly stood up and started climbing one of the many trees around town. Lyon quickly did the same, and soon they'd both be on top of two trees trying to get some fruits.
Unfortunately, Lyon lost the balance and fell, hitting the ground, could be worse though right...? well it was worse...but at least it was effective! The impact of the fall made three Cocos fall, on top of his head.
This consecutive amount of fails made Buizel climb down from the tree with one Coco in each hand and use Water Spout to wake up his trainer.

"Bouncy, c'mon...." she mumbled as she hopped off of the ferry and her sneakers melted into the firm, warm sands of Coco Village. It was a small town along the coast, and due north of this - and if you squinted, you could see Sanyo Island. North of Sanyo Island was the village she lived in, the Death Mountains and finally - the Battle Mansion, otherwise known as the Pokemon League. It wasn't her dream to go there, but it was her dream to battle at the Battle Mansion for contests - it was where the grand festival was held.

She fixed her hat, her Aipom bouncing after her as she tried to navigate her way to Professor Palm's lap for some starting pokeballs and then a pokedex to match with it. But, next thing she knew - she got hit in the head with a coconut. And she saw that a Buizel was at fault. Something to catch! she thought and ran forward, Aipom keeping up with her to see that the Buizel was with a trainer.

"Oh dear, whats wrong with him?" she saw Buizel spraying water with Water Sport to try to wake him up and she kicked him in the shins.

"WAKE UP LAZY!" she screeched.

Feeling the cold water in the face made it worth the fall. Buizel could spray him with water anytime, but being waked up by a jet of cold water coming from your pokémon is something that doesn't happen everyday!
But then there was something else, a sneker hitting his shins and a strange voice ordering him to wake up, and thats exactly what he did, quickly jumping from the ground he stood up and looked around.
"Huh? Hrm? Whats happening? Where am I again?"
The coco trees around him and buizel by his side gave him the answers, but the odd girl standing next to him gave him a lot of questions to ask, and if it wasn't by his unnaturally behavior with girls he'd probably ask so many questions that we'd stand here day and night.
But, like I said, his behavior stopped him from doing that, last time he spoke with a girl he got punched in the face and his nose bleeded for three entire weeks. So he quickly retreated, almost like cartoons do, and looked to her from a "safe distance".
His face went from normal to white, and then to blue, and then white again when Buizel approached the young lady and pocked her leg.
Buizel's curiosity beated Lyon's fear, and inside the pokémon's head a lot of questions were raised as well. Who was this human? And why did his trainer retreat? What was so dangerous about this girl? Humans were definitly the starngest creatures in the planet, and pokémons would never fully understand them.

After pocking her leg several times, Buizel turned to Lyon with a funny look on his face, almsot like saying, "I can't get it" o.o

"Ooh...a Buizel! It's so cutee!" she called out, nearly shrieking while looking at the orange water type pokemon. She kneeled down by it and grabbed it cheeks, as she casually began stretching them and then pinching them. She really had noticed how the guy had ran away, and she was still fondling over the water-type.

"I have a pokemon too... Bouncy!" Aipom lunged forward and began to bounce on its tail casually, and then it quickly turned into a backflip and then it started to bounce on Buizel's head before doing so on the ground.

She then walked up to Lyon. "Hi! I'm ashley!"

Buizel poked Ashley, however it was poked as well. The girl didn't seem agressive, and Lyon's curiosity ended up beating his fears, so he quickly approached and poked her nose with his index finger. Was it real? A girl that wasn't gonna punch him in the face? Such mythical creature couldn't even exist, and Lyon was so astonished that he didn't even notice how rude it was to poke her face like that, but he had to make sure it was real!
"H-Hi! I'm Lyon and he is Buizel..." he said, pointing with his other hand at the pokémon. But he couldn't stop poking her face, his eyes looking at her like if she was some kind of impossible-to-exist creature.
If we had accompanied Lyon during his whole life, we'd understand such a strange reaction, but Lyon was completly "absent" from that place...his mind was more interested in knowing how the heck was that he approached this girl and his face was still intact.
Buizel? He lost interest in the girl, the small pokémon was now more interested in Bouncy, the small Aipom that accompanied the girl. The water-type pokémon approached and started poking the normal-type pokémon just like his trainer.

Lyon and Buizel were definitly a weird pair, but none of them ever saw a girl that never punched Lyon in the face, and an Aipom. So their curiosity was jumping up and down, and they just had to check!

Bouncy, who was of a timid nature, didn't like much people outside of its own trainer and then to immediate touch from Buizel he bounced away quickly, taking a spot on Ashley's head. He picked up her pink and white hat, setting it on his head as he curled up into a ball. "Oh, sorry, my Aipom is a bit shy, I dont know why. But all pokemon have different natures right?" she smiled at it and dug in her bag and took out a small cookie-looking thing. It was a poffin. Aipom happily nibbled it and she took out a glazed doughnut, snapping it in half and handing him one half.

"Here, you look hungry! I'm Ashley Kotomi by the way, but call me Ashley... or Ash, whichever suits ya! I'm here to start my coordinating journey, I just need my pokedex and some starting stuff from Professor Palm..." she wondered out loud, giving him a swift smile.

By this time Lyon thought it was perfectly safe to be around this girl, and it was actually funny. Poor Buizel got crushed when the Aimpom ran away from him. deep inside, Lyon smiled to that pokémon behavior, but his face made a sad expression when he saw Buizel.
He had to do something right? So he quickly forced a smile and grabbed Buizel, raising him over his head.
"You're not ugly! You're a buizel!And Buizels are awesome!"
This didn't seem to work that well and Lyon was worried, but then again, the girl talked to him and he needed buizel to help him talking with her! Why was it so complicated to Lyon? Well doesn't matter really, lets just see what heppened!
Lyon opened his mouth and weird sound came out from it.
"ha-hum, Werggh-"PUM! Lyon was hitted by Buizel's tail. This was definitly the sign that he was doing something wrong. So he thought about what she said and answered, this time in English ;D
"Hrm...Hi! I'm Lyon! or...Lyon for short? I'm Lyon and I plan to...Well I really don't have any plan...maybe I'll beat the Elite four one day?" Lyon said this more as a joke than seriously, but after a couple of seconds he actually thought this might be a cool objective. Then he looked at the small Buizel, his faithful friend. Maybe, just maybe, someday he'd grow into something stronger.
So, without even knowing why, Lyon hugged buizel and placed the water type pokémon on the ground. This worked better than saying buizels were awesome...
"So, a coordinator you say...what is that coordinators do?" Lyon asked. He really had no idea.

She smiled, her eyes glimmering of hope and they seemed to shine. She twirled around and then gave him a small grin.

"A Pokémon Coordinator is someone who raises Pokémon to compete in Pokémon Contests.
We raise our Pokémon much like Pokémon Trainers do, although with much more emphasis on beauty and appearances since they are major factors when it comes to points in Contests. We also need to train their Pokémon to have beautiful moves, and be able to do well in battles, as a battle tournament is the second round of a Contest." She had loved giving this speech - it was her favorite in the world.

"Oh! Elite Four!! I know one of them. I think her name is uhh... she uses pink pokemon! She came to my school once. I, uh, hmm.... lets travel together! I'm scared of traveling alone!" she grabbed his wrist and then dragged him towards Professor Palm's office.

Coordinators seemed to be nice persons! And Lyon didn't mind traveling with her either...At least he'd have company of someone who could speak English! although sometimes Lyon doesn't speak English either o.o'
Well, anyway, his wrist was grabbed and he got dragged away, this was a sad new since he was really hungry and leaving the Cocos behind, watching his food disappear was not a nice thing to see, especially when he was hungry! Faith was so cruel! But Buizel wasn't, and the small pokémon quickly grabbed two cocos and rushed to join the two weird humans.

"But Ashley! I just came out of there! I wanna go explore the world! Lets go, pleeeease!" He made his speech, but he knew damn well it was useless, any young trainer, or coordinator like Ashley was, would not leave Town without first speaking to Professor Palm, Lyon himself did it! So, ending up knowing it was useless to ask not to got there, he ended up not being dragged, but walking by her side with Buizel on his shoulder, trying to share a coco with Aipom and his wrist firmly held by her hand...nothing he could do to get out of that situation, not even Buizel was helping him!

"Say Ashy...do coordinators battle?"
He asked with a shiny light on his eyes.

"Fine, we can go north to the forests then, maybe I can catch a pokemon with these shiny marbles!" she took out a bunch of pokeballs in their miniature form, but then she quickly took off and then ran inside of the office. She came out with a pink pokedex, smiling and used it on Buizel and Aipom to register them, as well as a flock of Starly that flew overhead.

"Aipom!" Aipom agreed and shared the coconut with Buizel, hitting it quickly to try to get the juice to come out of it, finally it did that and sipped at it and then with Aipom on her hea she turned to Lyon.

"Yeah, well, duh, there's a battle round in the contests. But, lets go north! I hear they have Lotad in the rainforests! And Aipom wants some battles."

Everything happened to quickly! The girl wanted to go North no matter what. And what did Lyon had against it? Nothing...I guess there was no problem in going North after all...there were all kinds of pokémon in the forest, maybe they'd get lucky and find a rare one! Maybe Lyon would be able to give Buizel a friend...But they had to take it easy. Running through the forest would scare the pokémons away.
"Hey Ashley, take it easy! We have enough time to find Lotads in the forest, there's no use in running in cricles to find them...We'll scare them away! Now C'mon lets go!"
He said, with a smile on his face, now he was the one grabbing her wrist and dragging her into the forest. This was definitly the beginning of an Epic Journey!

Now that he was not being dragged anymore, and wasn't in pain either, he could take a real look at Ashley, the strange girl whose name was the only thing he knew about her. Oddly, he accepted to travel with her...this would be definitly fun.
"Why do you want a Lotad so badly anyway? There are lots of cool pokémon out there! Lets not be weird and find one!"
